Backcourt: Tony Parker & Danny Green
Spurs fans are breaking their phones and sending death threats to my kids for this, but seriously think about it.
Tony Parker is a shell of himself – at least that’s what it looked like for the better-part of last season – and Danny Green, who averaged 12 points per game last season, is closer to a one-dimensional player than he is to an all-star.
Parker is a liability on defense and Green is at times non-existent. I understand that age has caught up to Parker and the miles from many playoff games has taken its toll, but for someone to say that he is still elite needs to be smacked. Green was never elite, so end of discussion.
