Charlotte Hornets

Last season summary: 33-49, Missed Playoffs

Changes

Offseason Addition(s): Nicolas Batum, Spencer Hawes, Jeremy Lamb, Jeremy Lin, Frank Kaminsky, Aaron Harrison

Offseason Subtraction(s): Bismack Biyombo, Gerald Henderson, Lance Stephenson, Noah Vonleh, Mo Williams

Outlook

The Good: The Hornets struggled mightily to score from the perimeter last season, but they seem to have upgraded significantly with Batum, Hawes and Lamb

The Bad: Low post defense could suffer with the Hornets lacking athleticism among their bigs

Concern: Can the Hornets score enough?

Prediction: 4th in the Southeast division

Note: Something still doesn’t feel right with the Hornets. Kemba Walker is a nice young player, but he shouldn’t be your best player. Unfortunately, that just might be the case with the expected regression in Al Jefferson’s aging game.
