Dallas Mavericks

Last season summary: 50-32, L, First Round vs Rockets

Changes

Offseason Addition(s): Deron Williams, Wes Matthews, Zaza Pachulia, Samuel Dalembert, Javale McGee, Jeremy Evans, Justin Anderson, Satnam Singh

Offseason Subtraction(s): Tyson Chandler, Monta Ellis, Rajon Rondo, Richard Jefferson

Outlook

The Good: The Mavericks have several great three-point shooters

The Bad: Dallas’ interior defense should be among the NBA’s worst.

Concern: Which Deron Williams will the Mavericks get?

Prediction: T-4th in the Southwest

Note: Unless Wes Matthews can recover at an accelerated pace, and if Chandler Parsons can suddenly emerge this season as one of the best two-way players in the NBA, it appears the Dallas Mavericks are destined to miss the playoffs. DeAndre Jordan’s indecision, fair or not, might’ve set this franchise back five years.
