New Orleans Pelicans
Last Season Summary: 45-37, L, First Round vs Warriors
Changes
Offseason Addition(s): Kendrick Perkins, Alonzo Gee
Offseason Subtraction(s): Jimmer Fredette
Outlook
The Good: Anthony Davis will continue to improve into a master of a player
The Bad: The Pelicans need healthy guards to improve in the standings
Concern: How will Gentry improve Davis and the Pelicans?
Prediction: T-4 in the Southwest
Note: Acclimating a new coach could take some time, but the payoff could be huge. The Pelicans know what they’re going to get from Anthony Davis; he’s the third best player in the NBA. Although, if they’re going to take the next step as a team, they’re going to need a healthy Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon.
