Miami Heat – *Scarface Voice* “I’m Reloaded!”

A year ago the Miami Heat were spurned by Lebron James, their star among stars, in the same fashion that he spurned his former team to join them a four years prior. The Heat were left to scramble, trying to fill an un-fillable void left by the greatest player in the world.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Fast-forward a year and we’re in a totally different place in South Beach. Wade and Bosh will be returning, presumably healthy, giving them that star presence once more. They brought back mid-season trade deadline pick-up, Goran Dragic, as their first legitimate point guard in years. Last year’s standout glass-eater, Hassan Whiteside, is returning to the organization and will lock down the paint for the Heat. Justise Winslow was the Heat’s 1st round selection in June, and comes in fresh off of a National Championship with the Duke Blue Devils.

I’m genuinely excited about the upcoming season for the Heat. They have a legitimate shot in the Eastern Conference and possibly in the title picture overall depending on their ability to play together.

This team will be able to shoot, attack, defend, rebound, and pass at an incredible rate if they’re on. The new-look Miami Heat will certainly give their former superstar a run for his money atop the Eastern Conference, barring catastrophe.
