In our first NBA Power Rankings of the 2015-16 season, we rank all 30 teams as training camps begin to open this week

More from Sir Charles In Charge

With NBA training camps officially opening this week, we can now say that the NBA season is here.

After a summer that saw the Western Conference get stronger – if that was even possible – and the Eastern Conference get healthy, 30 teams will report to camp with aspirations of raising the Larry O’Brein Trophy in nine months.

LeBron James, with a healthy Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, looks to atone for a disappointing finish in 2014-15, while the San Antonio Spurs, with reinforcements, look to add a sixth NBA Championship to their already crowded mantle.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Philadelphia 76ers simply look to get better while the Sacramento Kings just look forward to not getting embarrassed (as an organization) this season.

Oh, yea, and we can’t forget about the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. They’re returning everyone, too.

The 2015-16 NBA season is here. Let’s kick it off with our first official power rankings.
