As of right now, Victor Oladipo hasn’t succumb to the “No. 2 pick curse.” His first two years in the NBA have been great, and he’s now entering his third season in which many players historically have made huge leaps – Paul George, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love to name a few.

Everyone’s been talking about the potential of Oladipo and, after spending a part of his summer with Team USA, the 2015-16 season could be the first time he enters the All-Star conversation. His team, the Orlando Magic, aren’t expected to make the playoffs but are expected to make yet another appearance in the lottery.

Oladipo is tired of losing and it’s up to him to help his team exceed expectations by becoming the alpha dog next to Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic.

"“We’ve been together for awhile, for a couple of years now and we’re tired of using the ‘we’re too young’ excuse. It’s just time to win,” Oladipo told Fox Sports."

This past season the 23-year-old averaged 17.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 35.7 minutes per night with a PER of 15.9 and a slash line of .436/.339/.819. Obviously, Oladipo can’t do it all himself, but becoming more efficient and effective on the court will help lead to the Magic being more competitive in games.
