This guy was unreal last year. I mean, look at his unreal PER. Scary part is that he just 22-years-old. I know it is almost Halloween, fear is on people’s minds – so let’s talk something really scary. Anthony Davis has not only bulked up, but he is going to be shooting 3-pointers now. I am not sure anything else could strike more fear into the hearts of opponents then that.
The Brow is only going to get better and better, and now with Alvin Gentry overseeing his development he could become better by leaps and bounds. One could argue that he is the most valuable to his particular team, and he could have such a great season that he could win MVP even if his team isn’t all that great.
He has the potential to revolutionize basketball and I do not think it is a stretch to think this guy could be one of the greatest players of all-time. Especially if he stays on his current course of improvement. Name one player you would rather have to start your franchise with? I cannot think of a single one.
I do not think he got enough votes in last year’s MVP race and this year that should change. He stands a chance to be both an MVP and the Defensive Player of the Year. At this point, I have no idea what this guy’s ceiling is. Let’s just say that you should watch a lot of the New Orleans Pelicans this season, just to watch how good he truly is.
There are not enough superlatives to describe how he can impact a game. He is a 6’10” shot-blocking machine who can also handle the ball and shoot. Now, he is armed with a new contract and an ever-growing confidence and that could land the guy the first of many MVPs this season.
