6. Memphis Grizzlies

I love the way the Grizzlies play and tribute to the days of dominant big men duos and grinding defense. I have an appreciation for the big man in the NBA, and there’s a certain aesthetic to their games. I also love the way Mike Conley, Jr. controls the game like an NFL quarterback, never straying too far from his natural pace.

Still, despite my admiration for this team and what they represent, I wouldn’t classify them as the most exciting. Talented, yes. Will I watch? Absolutely. But exciting? Nope. Although, Tony Allen’s smothering defense and energy keep them off the end of the my list. He gets the blood pumping through that Memphis arena.
