The Lakers are crippling their young talent by letting Kobe “Kobe”:
For goodness sake I know it is Kobe’s twilight years, but why are the Lakers jeopardizing their future by letting him pretend it is 2008? In their three losses, he has chucked up a 8-24 24 point performance, a 5-12 13 point performance, and a 3-15 15 point performance.

LA is in a spot where the more their young talent can contribute the better. D’Angelo Russell is averaging 8.5 PPG and 2 APG. For the second pick of the draft, that is not good. If Kobe continually has the ball in his hands how can expect Russell and Clarkson to flourish. Not to mention Julius Randle – who has pretty much a non-factor thus far this season.
Russel & Kobe combined 0-11...not sure that is how you wanted Kobe rubbing off on the rookie.

It is still early and maybe Kobe learns a thing or two and let’s these young guys develop. Byron Scott is my early candidate for first coach to get fired and it is not even close.
The Lakers are a mess and until they get their priorities straight, it could be a really rough year in Hollywood. Wait, before we move on let’s get one more terrible sequence from Kobe this season.
