The Chicago Bulls will thrive with Nikola Mirotic starting

The Chicago Bulls made the switch to their new offensive approach by starting Nikola Mirotic over Joakim Noah. Now with the news breaking that Noah asked to come off the bench, it makes me feel even better about the Bulls.

He is averaging 19.2 PPG and 8.0 RPG while shooting 51% from the field, 50% from 3-point range, and 93% from the free throw line. The Bulls got out to encouraging start in their win over Eastern titan Cleveland and they have looked pretty decent overall.

Now it is still early in the season, and Derrick Rose is always a concern, so there has been some sloppiness to say the least. But isn’t that the case for most teams?

As the progresses the Bulls will have a chance to silence all of their doubters. Defense is still a concerning though between Mirotic and Pau Gasol (who has not played very well yet) but ultimately this team is talented and will thrive under Fred Hoiberg.
