In our latest NBA MVP Rankings edition, we take a closer look at the machine that is Stephen Curry
Last season, not many predicted that Stephen Curry would end up winning the NBA’s MVP award. Fast forward a few months, and Curry is now an NBA Champion, the reigning NBA MVP and is well on his way towards having back-to-back historical seasons.
It’s not even funny how much Curry has separated himself form the rest of the players on this upcoming MVP rankings list, but he has.
At this point, if Curry isn’t your favorite to win the award you’re doing the math wrong or you’re not staying up long enough to watch his games on the West coast.
Curry and the Warriors could break the Chicago Bulls’ 72-win total record this year. Yes, they’ve looked that good so far this season. Perhaps the biggest statistic in order to support that premise is that the Warriors are 4-0 and are beating teams by an average of 25 points. TWENTY. FIVE.
Oh, and Curry is averaging 37 points this season. That’s pretty good, I suppose.
In any event, here are our week 2 NBA MVP rankings.
