1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Stats: 37 points, 6.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 50.4 PER

It’s almost like Stephen Curry is playing a different game than the rest of the players in the NBA. He’s playing better than the best player on the planet, the best player on Mars and the best player in the entire universe. At this point, he’d beat the Monstars – without the necessity of “secret stuff” and an insanely long arm.

Curry is averaging 42 points per 36 and is shooting an insane 49 percent from three-point range (on five made 3s per game) and 60 percent from the field.

At this point, four games into the season, the NBA MVP award is Curry’s to lose. But, if the Golden Sate Warriors continue on this pace, there’s no way anyone other than Curry should come away with the award. And if the Warriors manage to break the Chicago Bulls’ 72-win plateau. Whew.
