7. John Wall, Washington Wizards

Stats: 22 points, 6.7 assists, 23.6 PER

If the Washington Wizards are going to take the next step this season, it’s going to be because of John Wall. And through the first few games of the regular season, with a 2-1 record, I feel like we’ve only begun to see what Wall is going to do this season.

Wall is only averaging 22 and 7, but feel like those numbers are going to balloon throughout the year. I figure that Wall will finish averaging somewhere around 24 points and 10 assists per game this season. Assuming that the Wizards can get to 50 wins this year, he should be in the conversation to win the MVP award.

If nothing else, he should steal some votes.
