In our latest edition of NBA Power Rankings, the Thunder and Clippers fall and the Hawks and Cavs see a rise

Two weeks into the season, and it’s safe to say that we learned quite a bit. You’ll notice a few big jumps and drops throughout our rankings. That’s because we underrated some teams and overrated a couple – but after two weeks we’ve fixed those flaws.

Before getting to the power rankings, here are a few observations from the week that was in the NBA:

  • The Warriors might not lose a game for a while.
  • The Kings have shown talent, but have only 1 win to show for it.
  • Kobe Bryant looks done.
  • The Miami Heat are either going to be really good or really bad on any given night.
  • The Atlanta Hawks are really good again, and no one is talking about them.
  • James Harden looks back.
  • We might’ve overrated Anthony Davis AND the New Orleans Pelicans.
  • Please pay attention to the job that Stan Van Gundy is doing in Detroit.
  • Yes, Andre Drummond just polished off another 20-20 game.

Those are just a few notes. But here is our entire NBA Power Rankings from week 3.
