10. John Wall, Washington Wizards
Stats: 17.4 points, 8.5 assists, 18.9 PER
John Wall has been old faithful for the Washington Wizards. Even more so now with Bradley Beal still sidelined with an injury. And as long as the Wizards can maintain to stay slightly above water until Beal returns, they should be fine in the Eastern Conference.
And Wall is a big reason why they’ll be able to do so. Wall’s scoring and assist numbers may be a bit down from where they were last season, but that should balance itself out as the season progresses. At least that’s the assumption that I’m currently operating under.
The Wizards are 5-4 and are recovering from an ugly three-game losing streak. They should be fine. Losing Beal is probably what’s hurting some of Wall’s assist numbers, too, but they should recover as soon as Beal is back and healthy.
