In our latest edition of NBA Power Rankings, we try to figure out what’s wrong with the Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers are a mess right now. After a 4-0 start to the season, the Clippers have dropped seven of their last nine games. They’re injured and have a horrible defense – right now. If that doesn’t change quickly, the Clippers, who were one win away from the Western Conference Finals a year ago, might have to take an honest look in the mirror and decide whether or not this is a core group that can actually accomplish something together.
Doc Rivers has hinted at it in the past, and this could possibly be this core’s final crack at make a deep run in the playoffs. But, if they can’t find the right synergy in the regular season right now, what’s the point of dragging this out until another postseason?
The Clippers have a lot of identifying to do. And right now, it doesn’t look good for Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan an company.
