NBA: Buying Or Selling 10 Early Season Trends
Houston Rockets’ averageness
SELL
This is the shock of the young NBA season. The Houston Rockets are either hungover from their Western Conference run from a year ago, or something incredibly bad happened over the summer.
Or it’s the Kardashian curse.
Either way, one thing’s for sure. The Rockets look nothing like many expected them to be this season. For one, I expected the Rockets to come out firing on all cylinders this season, potentially testing the Golden State Warriors for the best record in the conference. Then again, I didn’t expect the Warriors to go 82-0 this season, either. I just expected more for Houston.
After firing their head coach, jumping out to a 7-11 record and rumors that they’re testing the trade waters with Ty Lawson, it’s safe to say that the Rockets have struggled. With that said, I expect the Rockets to at some point this season eventually become a competent team. I expect them to be in the playoffs and make the second round. They’re too talented not to. Just give them time.
