Eastern Conference, the better Conference

The Eastern Conference is 48-40 against the Western Conference this season. And as Matt Moore of CBS wrote yesterday, if you remove the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers from their respective conferences, the East 47-29 against the West.

That is dominance.

After a rough few seasons, the Eastern Conference has recovered and looks like the better of the two conferences right now and I don’t think anyone would argue with that premise. Overall, the East has 10 teams at .500 or above through the first month of the season, compared to the West’s 7.

From top to bottom, the East has to be considered the better conference right now. Though, we all know which one carries the best team.
