NBA: Buying Or Selling 10 Early Season Trends
Clippers’ Hangover
SELL
Much like the fiasco that is happening with the Houston Rockets, I ultimately believe that the Los Angeles Clippers will recover from their slow start to the season. In fact, they’ve already begun to.
The Clippers started the season at 6-7, but have won four of its last five contests. While that could be attributed to their weak schedule – they’ve beaten the Pelicans, Wolves, Timberwolves and Blazers during that span – the Clippers have begun to show signs of emergence this season.
With that said, there are whispers that Doc Rivers is beginning to comb the rest of the NBA for potential trades. I’m not sure what exactly this front office would have in mind, but a change – big or small – is definitely coming. The Clippers have gotten off to a rough start, but they’ll be in the playoffs when push comes to shove, and probably have a say in who makes it to the Western Conference Finals.
