Whatever It Takes: In most situations, these two will do whatever it takes to get what they want. For instance, McNulty tried any and everything to capture Stringer Bell before his death, quite similar to Doc Rivers this summer, and the entire DeAndre Jordan/Dallas Mavericks/Los Angeles Clippers situation.

It was silly and, even to a certain extent, petty. Still, what the Clippers did was effective. Rivers and the Clippers got Jordan to re-sign with the team, even after giving a verbal commitment to the Mavs. Mission accomplished.

From Twitter emojis to barricading where Jordan was staying in order to keep Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks out of his ear, the Clippers won the summer by that amazingly horrible day of indecision.

Ironically, perhaps the most memorable part from Rivers’ “doing whatever it takes” tactic was Paul Pierce’s failed emoji moment – or, the day that many learned that their childhood hero had no idea how to use a smart phone. It was both hilarious and sad, but memorable nonetheless.
