Buddy Hield, Oklahoma, Senior

Height: 6-4

Weight: 214 LBS

2015-16 Stats: 21.4 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 47 FG%, 26.8 MPG

Draft Projection: Mid first round pick

What he’s good at: Scoring and shooting, which is also the big reason why he’ll get drafted in June. Every NBA team can use, or desperately needs, additional shooting. Buddy Hield is a great 3-point shooter and he does it with enormous volume (averaging over 7 threes attempted per game over the past two seasons).

Hield is a bit undersized for the SG position in the NBA, but he makes it up with his solid professional ready body and 6-9 wingspan. He won’t be the best player in this draft class, but don’t be surprised to see him drop 25 points on teams at the next level in a few years.

The other interesting aspect about Hield is that it’s almost rare to see a senior get any type of NBA Draft attention in the one-and-done collegiate atmosphere that has developed over the last few years. Hield, a senior, will bring a fresh look to this year’s prospect class.
