7. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

Stats: 7.6 points, 5.0 rebounds

In limited minutes, Nikola Jokic has made his impact felt for the Denver Nuggets. Per 36, Jokic is averaging 16.2 points and 10.6 rebounds. He’s also shooting 54 percent on the season. Though, he’s only playing about 17 minutes per game. Thus, that would make it a bit easier to be more efficient during his time on the court.

On the other hand, one would think that a player, especially a rookie, would need consistent minutes in order to be impactful. In limited time, Jokic has solved that issue. As the season progresses, you would think that Mike Malone would think about giving Jokic a more of an expanded role this season. However, with Denver’s crowded frontcourt, that could prove to be difficult.

Jokic deserves more playing time, that’s for sure.
