Hassan Whiteside currently leads the league with an absurd 4.56 blocks per game. How many blocks per game will he finish the season with?

Jason Coldiron: 4.5

Evan Caulfield: 4.1

Jay Rosales: This will surely drop – simply because opponents will test him less. It happened with DeAndre Jordan last season (BPG dropped post-all-star break), and Dwight Howard before him. He’ll still finish No. 1 with 3.3 blocks per game – the highest total in four seasons in the NBA.

Brandon Osborne: Whiteside is a defensive specialist who excels at blocks, I’ll go with 3.75 for the year.

Michael Saenz: Everything says that Hassan Whiteside probably won’t be able to continue to block shots at this outstanding pace, but I’ll go out on a limb and say that he can keep this pace up. Shot-blocking is probably his biggest asset to the Miami Heat and he’ll play enough where he’ll routinely get 3-4 blocks per night. Then, to bump up his average, he’ll have those few nights per month where he’ll go crazy and block like 7-10.
