Ah, the leader in the clubhouse a quarter into the season. Stephen Curry has been on a mission this season to not only prove his Warriors are the best team in the NBA, but that he is the best player in the NBA – a title that LeBron James has carried for the last half decade, if not more.

The Warriors have proven that they are the best team after starting 24-0 – they’re now 24-1 – and Curry has made his claim as top dog in the NBA after having seven games of at least 40 points and shooting a blistering 52 percent from the field, 46 percent from three-point range and 91 percent from the foul line.

It’s still early, but it’s going to be tough for anyone to catch Curry – and the Warriors – this season. He’s definitely the overwhelming favorite to win the NBA MVP this season.
