2. Luke Skywalker

Jason ColdironAnthony Davis. “The force is strong with him.” Davis, while already strong and powerful, still has much to learn and is willing to do so. With strong fundamentals and powerful skills, Davis is growing into the man who will one day become the leader of the Jedi. Still, there are obstacles he must overcome along the way (like his terrible team).

Jay Rosales – Luke Walton, as outlined in my previous answer. The young padawan has quickly shown the force is strong within him. (Spoiler alert: This is only the second of seven Star Wars questions…..so get used to reading force-related puns!)

Evan Caulfield – As much as I’d like to give DeAngelo Russell the role of Luke Skywalker, he’s undeserving. I instead went with Stephen Curry, a player that resembles Skywalker both in physical stature and as a person. Like Skywalker, Curry is soft-spoken, respectful, cares deeply about his family and is arguably the best player in his profession despite his physical deficiencies. Curry may get more help from his teammates than Skywalker, but he’s still the definition of an underdog considering the trials and tribulations he’s faced.
