Charlotte Hornetts
Nice surprise: This is a fun team.
And “fun” is not a title you’d place on the Charlotte Hornets since Glenn Rice stalked the three-point line. Without Al Jefferson, the Hornets work swiftly, spurred by the speed of Kemba Walker and the aggression of Nicola Batum. Both have performed like borderline All-Stars this season.
Needs Improvement: The team’s improved record is still marred by two miserable stretches.
They dropped their first three games of the season and now four of their last five. Take away these two blips and the Hornets are 14-5. In other words, find consistency.
