In this week’s NBA Power Rankings, we discus the Golden State Warriors looking human and the San Antonio Spurs waiting to pick up the pieces
The Golden State Warriors look human. I repeat. The Golden State Warriors look human.
With Stephen Curry ailing, this is the perfect time for the San Antonio Spurs to step in an overtake them as the best team in the Western Conference and the NBA. Yes. Re-read what I said. As the best team in the NBA.
The Warriors have held that title for the better-part of the last two years, but they’re beginning to bleed. Even if it had to come because of injuries. First, Harrison Barnes, who appears to be ready to return, and now Curry, who continues to struggle with his leg (shin).
Golden State has only two losses on the season, but you can’t help but begin to wonder whether injuries will derail this team’s chances at breaking the ’72 Bulls win record.
The No. 1 priority for the Warriors should be getting healthy. And right now, they aren’t.
