Potential Landing Spots: Mavs, Wizards

I’m taking a bit of a stab here, but I honestly believe that the Brooklyn Nets should take their recent blow up a step further and completely clean house. After firing Lionel Hollins and reassigning Billy King, the team’s GM, the Nets should trade Brook Lopez for either draft picks (to replace the ones that they traded) or for multiple young pieces. There has to be a team out there willing to give up two-first round picks, at least, for Lopez. He’s a good enough offensive player where his deficiencies on the defensive end can be lived with.

I’m not sure what time of market Lopez could generate, but I would be interested to see him on teams like the Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards. Although, I highly doubt the Wizards would pursue Lopez considering that he’s on contract beyond this season and they kind of can’t take on much more money if they plan on chasing Kevin Durant in the summer. The Mavs just need a center. Lopez is a center.
