NBA Trade Rumors: With the NBA Trade Deadline a little more than a month away, here are five teams that should be active in the coming weeks

There’s the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs (who have looked just as impressive thus far this season) and then everyone else.

You can make a case for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder being closer to the flame that is the Warriors and Spurs, but you won’t sell most knowledgeable people with that premise. Nevertheless, there is much-needed work to be done for most teams before the playoffs begin, unless you have Stephen Curry or Kawhi Leonard on your team.

Every team in the NBA has its weaknesses – even if we’re still trying to find some for the Spurs and Warriors – and the NBA Trade Deadline is usually each team’s final opportunity to address said liabilities.

And with the usual handful of potential prospects on the trade block – which are the same suspects every year (expiring contracts, disgruntled veterans or simple salary cutting casualties) – there will be an opportunity for each contender that isn’t quite where they want to be at this point in the season to catch up to the rest of the pack.

I’m not sure if there’s any move to be done that will get any other team up to the level of the Spurs or Cavs, but it’s worth a shot.

Here are five teams that NEED to make a move before the NBA Trade Deadline.
