NBA Midseason Grades: Where Every Team Stands At The Midpoint Of The Season

I like to describe the Boston Celtics as the all-role player team. The Celtics roster is full of players that every championship contender needs to win a chip. Unfortunately for the Celtics, they don’t have any of the stars that will help them get into the championship.

They still get a passing grade, however. They look like a playoff team but haven’t really improved from who they were last season. They’ll make the game ugly with their tenacious defense and hope that Isaiah Thomas is having a good night on the other end of the floor.

We’re all still waiting for the Celtics to make a move for a big name star. They still haven’t made any progress on that front.

We may have to wait another year. Or maybe that Nets pick will turn to Ben Simmons?
