With the midway point of the NBA season here, the SCIC team comes together to select their midseason award winners

The 2016 calendar year is very much underway, going strong and most teams have passed the halfway point of their schedules.

This week, the SCIC team hands out their midseason awards. In summary, our team hands out some praise to Stephen Curry (because of course), Ryan Anderson, who has been one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise down year for the New Orleans Pelicans, Luke Walton, who still will get zero credit for what he’s done with the Golden State Warriors in Steve Kerr’s absence, and the San Antonio Spurs, who are the best bet to prevent the Warriors from repeating.

In case you missed our midseason grades for all 30 teams in the NBA, you can check them out here. Otherwise, here’s our picks for the midseason MVP, 6MOY, COY and more.
