Christian Laettner, Atlanta Hawks (1996-97)
Duke legend and member of the 1992 Dream Team, Christian Laettnar never really lived up to the hype. The 1-time all-star with the Atlanta Hawks in the 1996-1997 season posted good numbers on bad Minnesota teams for three consecutive seasons prior.
In 96-97, the Power Forward/Center averaged 18.1 points, and 8.8 rebounds. The Atlanta Hawks were 56-26 that season, and lost in the Eastern Conference Semifinals to the Chicago Bulls. For his career, Christian averaged 12.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Tom Gugliotta, Minnesota Timberwolves (1996-97)
Tom Gugliotta had a lot of good seasons on bad teams. The 1-time all-star averaged 20.6 points per game, 8.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.6 steals for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1996-1997. They finished 40-42 that season, and lost to Houston in the first round.
Tom averaged 13 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game for his career.
