NBA All-Star Game: The Worst NBA All-Stars of the 2000’s
By Jason Veiga
Jamaal Magloire, Charlotte Hornets (2003-04)
Jamaal Magloire was a part of the original Charlotte Hornets team that relocated to New Orleans. The one-time all-star Center in the 2003-2004 season averaged a career best 13.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
The Hornets went on to lose in the first round to a rookie Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in a heartbreaking seven game series. Magloire averaged 7.2 points and 6.5 points for his career.
Kyle Korver, Atlanta Hawks (2014-15)
Currently still playing, Kyle Korver has been known as a 3-point theat since he was a rookie with the 76ers. Getting better with every season, Korver can now hold his own on the defensive end which has resulted in more minutes.
Last season (2014-2015), he was a part of the 60-win Atlanta Hawk team that sent four players to the all-star game and got swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Easter Conference Finals. In reality, he shouldn’t have made the all-star team averaging 12.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.
So far in his 13 year career, he’s averaged 10 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
