Steph Curry—A-

Defending champion Stephen Curry had to pull the magic out of the hat just to stay in the competition as it came down to the last rack for him to break the 20 point mark set by the rest of the field just to make the championship round.

He found enough of a rhythm late and it came down to his last three-pointer at the buzzer to stay in the competition.

Watching Curry, it appeared as if the pressure to find his stroke for the second year in a row had gotten to him after watching the bar set by the rest of the field.

Curry would shoot second in the championship round, finishing with a total of 23 to easily knock rookie Devin Booker out of the competition. When he won the title last year, he made 27 in the final round.

The thing that keeps Curry from getting the A+ is the benchmark he has set for himself and his first round struggles. Of course, his competition found the rhythm necessary just a minute later.
