Dorell Wright

After not being able to find the right spot last summer, Dorell Wright decided to play in China instead of the NBA. He did. Now he’s back and looking to sign back in the League. Much like most American players that head overseas, Wright also lit it up in China.

Wright averaged 24 points on 35 percent shooting from three-point range. He’s a solid defensive player when he’s motivated and usually an above average outside shooter. In the NBA, he’s a career 37 percent shooting from 3.

That usually spells a market for Wright, but right now there simply doesn’t appear to be one – there isn’t even interest from teams that desperately need an extra 3-and-D type player, which is odd. Though, that can change quickly. If the buyout market falls right, Wright could find himself back in the NBA’s playoff race. At least, he should.
