Kevin Martin

Now, the “what if” game. The Minnesota Timberwolves worked feverishly to find Kevin Martin a new home in the weeks leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline. Because they couldn’t find the right, or any, deal, it’s likely that the Wolves will buyout Martin.

Assuming that happens, because it usually does in the NBA, Martin can help a team that is either looking for a reliable shooter or some scoring punch off the bench. If there’s one thing that Martin has proved during his time in the NBA, it’s the ability to score. He’s done it almost every where he’s played.

Even this season, in a much reduced role, Martin is averaging 11 points on 37 percent shooting from three-point range.
