Despite the loss of Marc Gasol for the rest of the season, the Memphis Grizzlies have figured out a way to survive. They’re 3-1 since Gasol’s injury. Nevertheless, considering that the Grizzlies are only 3.5 games ahead of the red-hot Portland Trail Blazers, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to presume that the latter could catch the former.

And with Gasol being out for the season, it’s only natural for the Grizzlies to take somewhat of a setback collectively as a group. Memphis has 15 road vs 11 home games remaining. Assuming that Memphis will regress a bit with the absence of Gasol, the Grizzlies will probably end the season under .500 on the road. They’re currently 12-14 away from the Grind House.
