Oakland: Jerry West Talks About the Beginning
The Los Angeles Lakers front office has been revered for its wizardry in putting together championship squads together – whether that be around Shaquille O’Neal or Kobe Bryant.
After a remarkable playing career, “The Logo,” Jerry West became very involved on the bench and front office. As general manager of his old team, West orchestrated some of the biggest trades in Lakers history.

Now, an executive for the Golden State Warriors, West spoke about the experience of meeting the 17-year-old Kobe Bryant for the first time and how he was right in his belief that one day the teen would go on to accomplish great things.
