Boston: Celtics Bury Hatchet for the Final Night

Once upon a time, Kobe Bryant was almost drafted by the Boston Celtics. There is photo evidence to back up the claim that seems so absurd now. Especially now that we know he spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bryant played his entire career with his favorite team, and with that he became the arch-nemesis of the Lakers’ bitter rival: the Celtics.

But in his final night in Bean Town, Bryant was received with a standing ovation from the Boston crowd. Throughout the night the crowd booed the Lakers, but they cheered for Kobe.

A Celtics crowd cheering for a Laker legend, we may never see it again. Yet, it seemed right.
