Toronto: All-Stars Celebrate Kobe

This one may be a cheat since All-Star Weekend is made to feel like a home game for everyone involved. But with all eyes on Toronto, the NBA came out in full force to celebrate Kobe Bryant’s career.

The festivities had not one but two tributes.

The first gave fans a final reminder of everything he had accomplished.

The second showed fans the extent of his contribution to the game as his fellow All-Stars came out to tell Bryant how he inspired them and the respect they had for his career. Superstars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant were all featured.

It was not lost on anyone that Bryant knew the message was coming from the players who were going to carry the game when he was gone.

Finally, it’s no simple token that Laker legend Magic Johnson was the one to roll the tape. When looking at the long line of Laker greats, several have the argument of being the best ever.
