NBA: 10 End Of The Season Storylines To Follow

Who Wants It?
Unlike years past, the playoffs aren’t set in stone with just over 10 games left. Six teams are separated by less than six games in the Eastern Conference standings, while four squads are battling for the final three playoff spots in the West.
Despite plenty of turmoil, the Houston Rockets and the Chicago Bulls are still probably the favorites to clinch while Utah and Detroit are on the outside looking in. For the Bulls, it’s all about health. If Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol start 90 percent of their remaining games, Chicago probably gets the nod out East.
The Rockets have been solid at home, and seven of their final 12 games are in Houston. If they protect their house, they’re in. Seems simple enough but if the NBA has taught us anything this season, it’s that it’s never that simple.
