April 3rd: Portland Trail Blazers

The Golden State Warriors will look to rebound from their loss to the Celtics with a home-game against the Portland Trail Blazers on April 3rd.

Portland is one of the eight teams to have defeated the Warriors this season. Damian Lillard had a 51 points that night and almost single-handily overtook the defending champions in that matchup. The Warriors got the game back weeks later, with a 16 point victory.

Breaking down this matchup is a tale of two games. Portland’s victory was by the largest margin the Warriors have lost by with 32 points. It was also Golden State’s first game since the NBA All-Star break.

An important note, the game will be played in Oakland. While the Warriors home win-streak has been snapped, that doesn’t change the fact that the team enjoys a ridiculous advantage at Oracle Arena. The fans at the “Roaracle” as it has come to be called, are known for being the loudest when it comes to supporting their team. After Friday’s loss, it is likely that the “Dub Nation” will do their part to help restore order in Golden State.
