Despite what’s being rumored, Chris Bosh isn’t expected to return at any point this season. However, if the Heat continue to advance in the playoffs, it makes the possibility even more interesting. After all, the Heat haven’t ruled out a return.

They just say he’s “out.” Could he return to the playoffs if the Heat make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, which would be roughly three months since it was rumored that he was being treated for a blood clot.

If nothing else, it’s something to just monitor. Not expect. Monitor. It’s a storyline that should continue to unfold and grow increasingly interesting the further the Heat advance in the postseason.

Imagine the Heat opening a Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cavs, with Bosh returning for the first time. Amazing.
