15. Memphis Grizzlies (0-1)

It was somewhat unfair to see the Memphis Grizzlies draw the San Antonio Spurs. In fairness, it would’ve been difficult to see the Grizzlies against any team in the playoff field. Without Marc Gasol, Mike Conley and a number of other Grizzlies that suffered season-ending injuries this season, it was evident that Memphis wasn’t going to have much of a shot in any playoff series.

Much less against the second-best team in the NBA.

If the NBA could simulate this playoff series, I firmly believe that they would – along with a few other series. But credit the Grizzlies. They found a way to make the playoffs when almost all the odds were against them. They don’t deserve to get bounced like this, though.
