Complete Domination

Looking at the stat sheet, almost every stat tells the story of the Hawks dominating the Celtics in Game 5.

Whether it be field goal attempts (+19), three-point field goals made (+7), offensive rebounds and rebounds in general (+3,+7 respectively), assists (+11), steals (+8), turnovers (-8), the Atlanta Hawks just completely dismantled this Celtics team.

In fact, the only two major stats the Celtics did win were blocks (+3) and free throws made (+7). This speaks volumes for why this game ended in a 27-point blowout. After Game 5, every Boston fan was left with the thought in their minds of, “Whats next?”

Well Game 6 is Thursday back in TD Gardens where Isaiah Thomas has averaged 35 points per game and will hope to continue this streak.
