NBA Power Rankings: Golden State Warriors Impress Sans Stephen Curry

10. Boston Celtics (2-4)

After quite an amazing season, the Boston Celtics simply didn’t have enough offensive fire power to overcome the onslaught that the Atlanta Hawks brought in Games 5 and 6. And that’s kind of how the story goes for teams that are offensively challenged in the NBA Playoffs.

Losing Avery Bradley in Game 1 and seeing Jae Crowder transform into a shell of himself after his late-season high ankle sprain didn’t help either.

With that said, the Celtics have a bright future in front of them. They have a plethora of assets and some young pieces that will be attractive this summer. They could trade for a superstar or even just play their chances out in the NBA Draft – they’re projected to finish with a top 3 pick. The season didn’t end perfectly for Boston, but they shouldn’t hang their heads.
