In this week’s edition of NBA Power Rankings, we discuss how dominant the Cleveland Cavaliers have looked thus far in the playoffs

The Cleveland Cavaliers have looked good, really good through the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs. They’re 8-0 after sweeping the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks respectively and haven’t even broken a sweat in the process.

Even if a weak Eastern Conference, that is still awfully impressive. Which brings up an interesting conversation that definitely should be had at this point in the playoffs: should the Cavs be considered the favorites to win the NBA Championship?

Considering that Stephen Curry isn’t healthy at the moment, and we really have no idea how he’s going to look when he eventually returns, I don’t think it’s an outrageous statement to make.

Couple that with the fact that the Cavs are as close to 100 percent healthy as can be, and that they’ve suddenly become the NBA’s best offense and you can see why this could finally be Cleveland’s year to break through.

With that said, here are this week’s NBA Playoff power rankings.
