Los Angeles Clippers

Inserting Blake Griffin into the lineup in the last week of the NBA’s regular season might’ve hurt the Clippers’ chemistry. However, you can’t argue with the 2-0 series lead that they built over Portland in the first two games.

The biggest reason why they went on to lose 4-2? Injuries.

The Clippers lost Chris Paul and Blake Griffin due to injury towards the end of the series and that was their ultimate doom. As for now the Clippers’ offseason, their one goal this season is to add talent to place next to CP3 and Griffin.

How can they do this? First of all, they can move on from Jeff Green whose newly freed up money can be used to attract a second-tier free agent. If they move a few salaries around, then perhaps they can make a bid for Kevin Durant.

If you’re a Clippers fan, their first move is to add firepower by signing another quality piece to stick next to the core. With one year remaining on both Paul’s and Griffin’s contract, they are going to give this core one more shot makes sense of their investment.
