13. Deyonta Davis, F/C, Michigan State

When thinking about the modern day big man, Deyonta Davis fits that bill to a T. He’s athletic, long and agile. While his offense is still raw, what he lacks on that side of the ball is more than made up on defense.

Again, selecting Davis means that you’re willing to invest in his upside and potential. The 6-foot-10 big man won’t likely contribute right away, despite what team he’s selected by, but could be a really good player in a year or two.

Davis is the big you want on your team in today’s NBA. Assuming that his offense will come around in a year or two, Davis should be a lottery pick. If he falls out of the top 14, someone could be getting a huge steal. The talent and potential is there.
